CHISPA : The Thirteen Origins is a series of one-shot origin stories for the members of The Thirteen, a group of Mexicans and Mexican Americans who discover they are chispas, able to wield impossible powers. Cinthia "Cindy" Orejuela takes to her chispa powers like a rabbit to a warren when she receives them at eighteen. She firmly believes that as long as no one's been hurt yet, anyone can turn back and do the right thing-and she proves it by serving her community, preventing crime, and helping others.
